Doug is a 1972 Graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science. After graduation he joined the firm of H.M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill Chapel where he spent several years and gained a vast amount of knowledge in funeral service. Opening Henry Funeral Home in 1983 to serve Lithonia and the surrounding area with a Funeral Parlor style Funeral Home.

Once you enter the facility on Church Street, you will immediately find yourself in A stately Victorian Home with period furnishings. Our Chapel will seat 200 people and is equipped with a piano/organ or most families choose to take advantage of our music system with hundreds of songs. It has always been Doug's goal to treat every family in their time of need with compassion and dignity.
